Low income Canadians miss $175 million in benefits

About 240 000 Canadians ineligible for benefits due to not filing tax returns. CVITP and Prairie Mountain Health coordinate volunteers to prepare free tax returns for low income residents. Eligibility includes single income under 30000 and family thresholds with dependents. In Rivers, services available weekdays 6 30 am to 4 30 pm at Riverdale Municipality. Health and income are strongly linked per WHO findings.
