Manitoba Announces 25 Percent Operating Credit Guarantee
Agriculture and Food Minister Rosann Wowchuk unveils an Operating Credit Guarantee program effective April 1 to help Manitoba farmers obtain affordable financing. MACC will guarantee 25 percent of operating loans with caps of 450 000 for individuals and single shareholder entities and 700 000 for partnerships and larger entities. Credit unions may participate and interest is capped at prime plus 1.5 percent.
