Fire alarm as chimney burns over Clarke and Co pool room
A high wind sparked a town fire alarm at ten on Wednesday. Clarke and Co pool room chimney was ablaze but water was unnecessary as the fire was controlled early. a provincial inspector praised the brigade and urged future practice when weather allows.
