Electric Light Plan Discussed At Radville Meeting
A large Radville audience heard Mayor Pickett outline the Council’s position on a proposed electric lighting system offered by Anglo Canadian Engineering Co of Winnipeg. The town could obtain an electric plant valued at twelve thousand dollars without extra taxes, with revenues from lights potentially covering debts and maintenance. Citizens were asked to sign for rights and indicate how many would participate, with a committee to gather names and quantities for a future vote.
