Fire Losses Drop Sharply in Canada for Early 1915
Canadian fire reports show two months of 1915 losses at 2,498,884 compared with 5,717,061 in 1914, a decrease of 3,218,177 and the lowest in over five years. February fires numbered 581 with 364 in dwellings, many from preventable causes due to defective pipes and flues.
