Clements Sees Wide Support for Borden Naval Policy
Comox-Atlin MP H S Clements visited the west and said the Borden naval plan would win overwhelming approval if presented as suggested by Liberal papers. He noted $85,000,000 for ships would come from general revenue and three battleships would stay under Canadian control. Aids To Navigation in British Columbia Changes Planned
The marine and fisheries department will give at least sixty days notice before new aids to navigation are set in British Columbia. A gas buoy will be placed off Lawn Point Skidegate Inlet at latitude 53 25 85 north and longitude 181 58 4 west. The existing buoy four miles south of Lawn Point will be replaced. Changes occur about March 1.

Walter Dass made a flying trip to Cumshewa to re stake several mineral claims. The Triumph of the B C Fisheries left for Prince Rupert on Tuesday night. Government Agent Sandilands visited points on the east coast during the week. The body of Fred Newman remains unrecovered after a drowning at Aliford Bay. Trawling has ceased but a strict watch is kept on both sides of the inlet.
