Mr Puttman who supervised the fertilizer plant project for Westholm Lumber Co left for Victoria last week. Mr T Forbes local manager for B G Fisheries sailed Tuesday on the trawler Triumph to Rupert.

Islands Get 26250 in Dominion Estimates
The Dominion Government estimates for 1918-14 were tabled in the House of Commons. The Queen Charlotte Islands appropriations total 26250 with 18750 for a Massett to Dead Tree Point telegraph line. A Massett wharf is funded at 7500 and Sandspit wharf at 5000.

Lawn Hill Buoy Repaired During Northern Voyage
The steamer Quadra under Captain Macpherson arrived at Aliford Bay to service aids to navigation. It towed the Lawn Hill buoy and recharged its light, replacing the buoy and planning yearly upkeep. The voyage supplied Langara Island lighthouse materials amid severe weather delays and noted Cape St. James lighthouse construction to start this summer.
