Notice from Indian Head Board of Trustees dated January 12 1886 requests a $900 for erecting a house end ont and paint on the Samee and $200 for the purchase of Furniture Mens Bien A vote will be taken on the above as the dorect Moses Fishleigh Dillon etc to oversee voting details and timing.

A meeting is set for July 2 1886 at ten o'clock A M to vote on approval at McLean West second meridian.
The South Ou Appelle municipality notes divisions into wards after a devastating fire that erased the young city of Vancouver B C. Once home to 2000 residents it was the Pacific terminus of the Canadian Pacific and a boomtown with expected growth and regional relief from eastern donors.
On Sunday 27th mat a church meeting at Bonnycastle Schoolhouse elected two churchwardens and a vestry to aid the next Katepwa church. Rev D Lewis chaired with J J Bonny and others named. A grand concert at Fishing Lake on July 15 funds the church building, more details next week.
A notice invites the public of Loon Creek Bridge over the Qu Appel river to a July 6 gathering with games such as baseball croquet and river outings. Outsiders are welcome but urged to join with good intentions.
Due to a misunderstanding the notice for the police McLean Protestant School Debentures held on the 26th alt was published in an old form. To prevent future difficulty the advertisement is reinserted and another meeting of the electors for the district will be held at McLean on the 24th y.
Three Moulding children died when a boat capsized on Broadview lake between 7 and 8 pm on Dominion Day. Bodies were recovered by Saturday morning and buried together in Broadview cemetery. The funeral at the father's residence was led by Rev. Mr. Evans with an improvised sermon. The event cast gloom over the town and funds were raised by the church ladies for the church at the manse lunch table on Dominion Day.
