Take notice that the Board of Trustees of the Selon District of Summerhillee Public School District No 34 proposes to borrow four hundred dollars secured by debenture for a school house and contingent expenses. The election will be held at the Seber Hones on Section 24 Township 14 Range 8 West of the 2nd Principal Meridian North West Territories on Saturday the 2th day of August MG from 10 am to 1 pm. Trustees of the THISTLE Protestant Public School District No. 92 in the Northwest Territories announce a loan of four thousand eight hundred fifty dollars to build a school house and furnish equipment. A poll opens Saturday September 4, 1886, at ten oclock a m and closes four pm the same day at the School section 6, Tow Range 5, west of the second principal Merion. Voters declare eligibility and oath. ballots determine approval of the loan from the public district.
Citizens of South Qu’Appelle welcome Sir John A. Macdonald on his Northwest Railway tour. A. M. McLane presents an address praising the project and anticipating regional growth. Macdonald promises support and notes rail completion will draw population and trade, with thanks to Lady Macdonald.
