Drift verse gloom over trade and wages in West Countries
Fragmented text laments customs and trade barriers harming employment and wages. It mentions London, Wales, crews, ships, and fears of economic decline, with references to the West Countries, Britain, and shipping prospects. The excerpt reads like a late manuscript discussing commerce and fiscal impact on seafaring and industry.
