A letter from FALLIBILISOW near Hampton Court laments human frailty in knowledge and judgment, defends honest public service, and attacks vanity and French agents. It argues the war’s continental faults lie with France, not Britain, and defends Prussia alliance amid era diplomacy.
A Victorian style prospectus announces a 110 issue Bible with notes by Rev John Butley. It promises copper plates and a paraphrased exposition, printed in quarto on fine paper for three pence per number.
