Public Ledger Licence Granted to William Faas
Our gracious grant authorizes William Faas to print publish and vend the Public Ledger after costful compilation by gentlemen. The licence restricts war subject reprints and abridgments, with penalties for unauthorized editions. Given at the court of St James on December 17 1759 in the thirty third year of reign W Pitt by command of the king.
