Public Ledger License Granted for William Faare Work
In a December 17 1759 license at James's Court, William Faare is authorized to print publish and vend The Public Ledger. The Crown forbids reprinting abridging or publishing the work by others under risk of penalty. The license notes the act is issued by W Pitt under Our Command.
