Robbery at Cherry-garden Stairs threatens sugar loss
Five men boarded the Indian King lighter at Rotherhithe on a Thursday morning last April around two o clock. They seized about five hundred weight of sugar, with two men armed, and escaped in a Waterman's skiff toward the opposite shore. A reward of twenty Guineas is offered for information leading to the offenders.
