Granby Defeats French Forces Near Marburgh
Colonel Fosfet reports that on the day before the Marquis of Granby led about 25 000 cavalry against 30 000 to 40 000 French near Marburgh and defeated them. French losses are not fully known. 1500 prisoners were taken and 40 offensive pieces of cannon captured.
