Welton 160 tons with 12 men and 4 guns from Gibraltar to Bristol. Backhouse 100 tons with 8 men and 4 guns to Topsham. Shannon 110 tons with 8 men to Colchester. Laurel 100 tons with 9 men to Falmouth and Plymouth. Good Intent 70 tons with 4 men and two swivels to Portsmouth. Sharpe 260 tons with 16 men and 10 guns to Plymouth. Charming Molly 45 tons with 7 men to Waterford. Emma and Susanna 150 tons with 1 man and 4 guns to London. Success 30 tons with 6 men to Jersey. Henry and John 180 tons with 1 man and 5 guns to London. On March 1 the Shannon parted company. by March 11 four more ships were lost sight of. Charming Molly, Experiment, Laurel, and Emma and Susanna were later joined, Charming Molly captured by a French 64-gun ship after departing Brest March 8. she reported an Indiaman from Madras captured.
