A fragmentary land act note outlines a parcel starting at a post on Aristazable Island and describes a rectangular survey with chains of distance. It devolves into an unrelated protest phrase about “Let us have lots of that stuff” and mentions July 1st good feeling and fellowship.
The Grand Trunk Pacific Railway Company deposits site and plans for a warehouse in Prince Rupert Harbor in front of water front Block G. After one month from first publication the company will apply to the Minister of Public Works in Ottawa for approval and permission to construct. Dated Winnipeg May 25 1916. H. H. Hansard solicitor.
Charles Balogno has resumed taking piano pupils with reasonable terms. Phone Blue 408 for details. Also noting a piano tuner Harry C. Evans and piano services advertised. Mrs Hugh Killin reports a husband posted missing since June 11 with his regiment.
William Lionel Barton a lumber maker at Port Clements BC assigns all real and personal property to Alfred Williams by deed dated June 17 1916. Meeting of creditors scheduled July 10 1916 at 2 30 p m in Vancouver to discuss estate affairs. Creditors must file verified claims by that date or be distributed per the act. I J Ritche as agent for Granby Consolidated Mining Co Ltd announces intention to apply for a Certificate of Improvements to obtain a Crown Grant for the Mineral Claims named Mineral Act Hidden Creek and Carney Lake area in the Skeena Mining Division Granby Bay Gasstar District BC. Action under section 85 must be started before the certificate is issued. Dated June 15 1916.
Form of Notice from Skeena Land District Coast Range IV states Surf Inlet Power Company Limited of Vancouver intends to apply for lease of land described by specific metes and bounds totaling 10 acres more or less. Dated May 21 1916.
