Montreal August 8 R L L Borden will open his campaign in the eastern townships on August 29 at Farnham and speak in Sherbrooke with Hon J C Doherty Charles Castrain and H S Ames. Separately completion of the entire British Columbia section by 1913 is targeted with through traffic to begin then. The contract terms favor awarding the whole intervening space to one firm to speed construction and enable a full ground outfit. River steamers on the Skeena may be dismantled for use in inland supply carriage once the line to Hazleton is complete. The firm hopes to deploy large capacity ahead of the 415 miles involved.

Minister to Retire After Justice Portfolio Resignation
