Son Faces Murder Charge in Henderson Death

The case centers on Mrs. Henderson found dead at St Vincent's in Nome near Albert Park on July 27. Police say the injuries to her head were severe and a neighbor heard her calling for help as Henderson was seen at a dividing fence. The Crown suggested a hammer or blunt instrument caused the head injuries, with broken tool pieces found in a box in the scullery. The defense noted it would be difficult to explain the blood spatter patterns. The trial resumes tomorrow.
