Air Force Bomber Crash Kills two near Liverpool

An Avro Anson bomber crashed at the air force aerodrome near Liverpool this afternoon killing Flight Lieutenant M. Allsopp and Raymond Lawconi. Lockwood died in hospital. James MacKay, John Angue Gordon, and others were seriously injured with head and internal injuries. The crash left a wide scorch area and cockpit wreckage found nearby.
