Ronald Eric Clark, 17, of Port Pirie West, touched a live 200 volt electric wire on a horse stable post after a football from a neighbour’s yard. He collapsed on the stable roof shortly before 46 yesterday afternoon in Port Pirie West.
Ronald Clark son of HB Clark, unemployed, died after a fall from a stable roof while playing with a football with Cecil Smart. Ronald touched an electric light wire and collapsed. Artificial respiration failed. he died at hospital. He was a popular athlete with multiple local teams and was soon to have a bright sporting career. Police prepare coroner report.
