In Wellington on Thursday the jury found Robert McKay Gordon, 43, and James Arthur Talbot guilty on two charges as evidence was presented in the bones case.
The King and Queen arrived in Winnipeg amid heavy rain as crowds welcomed them. The Queen ordered the royal car hood lowered for visibility, while 50,000 to 60,000 visitors lined the streets. Row of Ellen Street is a patient in Sister Bray's Private Hospital receiving treatment for a leg ailment. Miss V. E. Curtis, Pirie policewoman, left yesterday for Adelaide by train.
Mr A E Matters of Gertirude street has been an inmate of Pirie Hospital ward for four weeks and hopes to leave shortly. Mr F Nolan of Weeroons holiday camp was admitted nearly a fortnight ago after a stroke and is showing favorable progress.
