Reports from Sydney say danger has passed after floods in NSW. Many residents evacuated Dubbo Wellington West Maitland Narramine with varying damage. Despite harm to some, overall rainfall benefits the state wide wheat belt indicates a promising season ahead.
At Adelaide Railway Station No 9 platform three carriages two brake vans and two joint stock cars were shunted and collided at 4 40 this morning causing two carriages to telescope. No one was aboard the train and damage included wrecked woodwork metal debris and damaged station buffers. A daytime line clear showed the track freed and debris cleared by late morning.
