Pirie Town Dog Catchers at Work Yesterday

In conformity with a Pirie Town Council resolution dog catchers were at work yesterday. An inspector declined to give the exact tally, but one catcher said the bag was five. Two corporation employees rode out at dawn with a horse drawn cage wagon and roped and netted dogs, catching them with bare hands and rope. All went quietly with only one shady character escaping. Dogs not on a leash were barred from main streets.

Tripped Over Tricycle Leaves Man Injured at Home

Mr J K Ledne of The ferracy tripped over a child's tricycle in his backyard on Wednesday night. He smashed his spectacles and sustained a cut to his right temple. He sought medical attention the next day and was admitted to Pirie Hospital with probable concussion in the survival ward.
