A young man named Geeil James Whelan aged 16 was at a public house on New Year’s Eve from 8 to around 12 05. A witness who knew Judd by sight testified he saw Judd between 9 and 10 pm. The witness observed Judd approach the pub cart, order a drink, and pick up a sauce bottle noting no cork in the bottle. Judd allegedly responded with a curt remark about the cork and the witness referenced turning him away.
