Shunter Killed at Pirie Junction Yards
Thomas Patrick Jones a 39 year old shunter for South Australian Railways was killed at Solomontown Junction yards near the car-cleaning sheds while marshalling carriages for an Adelaide bound train. His head was crushed between buffers of two passenger cars. No witnesses. He leaves a widow and five children. Constable R E Soar to report for the coroner.
