Six Air Force crew killed in NSW Queensland crashes

Six Royal Australian Air Force members died in three crashes across New South Wales and Queensland over the weekend. Veitch was a pupil pilot at Amberley, Hack and Turner were part of a navigation exercise. Violent rainstorms hindered search efforts and safety of ground parties remained a concern.

Boy's Arm Broken From Fall in Solomontown Incident

A two year old boy, son of Mr and Mrs G Saley, suffered a broken arm after falling from a tree at Solomontown on Saturday afternoon. The injury occurred while the child played with other youngsters near Isy Street, Solomontown.

Temperatures and a Papper Tree Incident Report

Yesterday's high reached 87.8 with a 24 hour low of 5.27. Saturday's high 85 and low 5.2. In Pirie street a tall papper tree branches caused a man to fall several feet, injuring his left forearm in two places and badly injuring his nose. He was taken to Pirie Hospital where his condition was described as stable.

Girl's Foot Crushed On Train Wheels In Adelaide Incident

Kubie McNary a 15 year old girl of Mulga Road Blackwood slipped while boarding a train at Blackwood Station. Her left foot came into contact with a carriage wheel and she was admitted to Moye Adelaide Hospital with a crushed foot.
