Inhuman Punishment Of Mary Angelo At Pirie School

Mary Angelo a 12 year old girl was forced to stand for an hour with her head and shoulders in a sooty chimney at Pirie School. Four classmates corroborated the account that she remained in the chimney from shortly after 3 p.m. until at least 4 p.m. The case drew scrutiny after the child’s father spoke with school officials and a Recorder reporter.
