Local angling near the Smelters yields quick mullet hauls
Lemeh hour fishing along the wharfs near the Smelters has become a popular pastime in Pwie. A school of mullet has lingered in the river for several days and fishers report hauls of many dozen per man in short periods. Large salmon have also been hooked recently.
