Broken Hill Strike Conference Postponed In Melbourne

Representatives of the Mining Managers Association and the FEO and A met in conference. Mr Emery, president of the former, formed to instruct engine drivers delegates to conference again on the log ved of the mineowners. A new set of circumstances arose necessitating managers to attend a conference on April by inverting the mining company director and the Coal and Shale Employes Federation to discuss the miners strike. The conference, Emery said, was arranged by the Industrial Disputes Committee of the Melbourne Trades Hall council. He asked engine drivers if they would postpone their conference until after the Melbourne conference. The engine drivers agreed to the postponement.
