Watering Lawns Charge and Fines in Rosewater Case
Mrs Elizabeth Stephens of Margaret Terrace Rosewater was fined two pounds and costs after Inspector Moir caught her watering a lawn from the Waterworks standpipe on January 21. She claimed only a few cupfuls. A second case in Glanville West on December 28 saw William Brady fined three pounds and costs.
