Mr Arthur Wesley Burch died suddenly at his residence Kooyong Military Road Semaphore after a ten month illness. At twenty he joined H Mbecke and Co shipping firm and remained with them until his final illness. He leaves a widow and was son of the late Captain L Burch, a noted early Tasmanian trader.
