Semaphore stoker charged for indecent language in public
William Martin Colman of Semaphore was charged in Port Adelaide Police Court with using indecent language in Swan Terrace Semaphore on Saturday evening. He pleaded guilty and was fined £1 with 17 costs or five days imprisonment. Inspector J E Noblet prosecuted.

False Declaration Alleged In Port Adelaide Court
Herbert Lawrence Johnson a Port Adelaide laborer appeared before Mr G W Halcombe S M on a charge of unlawfully and corruptly subscribing a statutory declaration that he was destitute on December 13. The magistrate remanded the case until March 10 and Johnson was granted bail.
