Keyhole Observations Show Alleged Prohibited Drinking At Glanville Hotel
In Fort Adelaide Police Court last Friday the case of Harold E. Comley charged with supplying liquor at 6.15 pm on July 2 at the Glanville Hotel was adjourned. Inspectors Noblet and Hansberry testified through a series of observations of the barroom keyhole and three men later found on the premises. The defense contested the bed scene accounts while witnesses described the keyhole disruption and viewing through the door. A fine of five pounds plus costs was imposed in a related information, with further proceedings adjourned to July 23.
