Yatala Band of Hope Meeting at Methodist Church

The Yatala Band of Hope Society held its fortnightly meeting at the Methodist Church near the Alberton railway station on Wednesday evening, December 5, with good attendance. Vice-President Mr C Campion chaired a varied programme by Miss L Darling featuring songs and recitations. Participants included Miss Hazel Behn Master Dean Bollen and Mr A V Howe Snoiss Lovey Savage and Mr A Keeling spoke on his 524 mile West Coast trip and band expansion.

A November 29 picnic at Long Gully featured events such as Sheffield Handicap won by L Evans and D. Craig taking medals.
