Old Citizens' Reunion At Port Adelaide Town Hall
The Port Adelaide Mayor and Mayoress hosted a second social for citizens over 70 at the Town Hall. Invitations drew many old friends, with some attendees already departed this life. The event featured a three tier birthday cake and tributes to elderly residents including Mrs Merritt, Mrs Phillips, Mr Sadler, and Mr Deslandes, with reminiscences of Port Adelaide's early days and notable locals.
