Daylight assault leads to assault charge at Port Adelaide
John Dowsett, 41, of North Largs, testified after a daylight attack by three men who kicked him, tore his trousers, and fled toward the Dock station. Seaman Peter Convery, of Port Augusta, appeared at Port Adelaide Police Court charged with molesting Dowsett. the charge was withdrawn and Convery was committed for trial on a grievous bodily harm case. Dowsett suffered a rib impact, a sprained thumb, jaw trauma, and a broken tooth from the assault. The magistrate noted the case would go to a jury.

Flagstaff Demolished After Demolition Collapse at Port Adelaide
