Snowshoe Gold and Copper Mines Hold Second Ordinary Meeting
The Snowshoe Gold and Copper Mines Ltd held its second ordinary general meeting in London on December 21 1902. Boundary Mining Notes and Ore Shipments
At the B C mine 47 men are on the payroll and no ore cars were received by Granby last Wednesday despite a 400 ton order. Daily coke needs for three Boundary smelters total 350 tons, with current deliveries below that. The Providence mine’s last ore cut netted 2405.41 to shippers after freight and treatment, on 42 860 pounds gross weight.

Kennedy Firm Moves To Secure Right of Way
James H. Kennedy chief engineer of the V V S & Ky and agent Desliisay arrived to secure right of way for the line. Kennedy said construction would start after snow melt and a Gt Northern train could be taken from Phoenix to Spokane without changing cars. The spur to the Granby smelter is already secured and work proceeds up Fourth of July creek toward Summit camp and Providence creek.

Granby ore crusher starts operation largest in Canada
The Granby Co. began operating a Blake-Warrel ore crusher, the largest of its kind in Canada, after wiring connections were completed. Supt. Williams will run it ten hours daily for 1500 tons of Knob Hill ore, with plans for a second unit at the Old Transides ore Lins. The machine, built by Jenckes Machine Co. of Sherbrooke, uses electric power from Canadian General Electric Co.
