New Bank Block Is Completed In Boundary City
The New Bank Block at the southeast corner of Bill Street and Levenne Avenue in Boundary City is completed. Built by Graves and Williams, it features 27 offices on the second floor and substantial brick construction with a two-story height and plans for an additional story. The block houses a bank trading room, offices, and a warehouse at the depot, with leases and space already filling for three years. Architects Cuthber and Malnigton of Sjianes and contractors Smith Bros. report a prime location with plate glass fronts and modern conveniences including water plumbing. Rev. David from Grand Forks plans church work, with opening services in Hardy-McKenzie Hall and a dedicatory sermon by Rev Rith Blyth in January.
