Oil Process A Success At Snowshoe Mines
The Snowshoe Gold and Copper Mines Ltd reports oil processing tests as a potential low cost method for treating low grade ore. Preliminary results suggest copper and gold recovery advantages, with ore sent to London for analysis. Work on a new three compartment incline shaft progresses, with a 136 hp hoist to lift 500 tons daily to 1,200 feet. Shipments are paused as crews focus on shaft completion and ore exposure. The Provincial Labor Convention met in Kamloops with 58 organizations forming a ten point campaign platform.
