Forward to Severne Bridge Assault on River Tame
A Civil War commander reports the fleet advance with Gen Feetwood at Severne, and a bridge over the River Tame by our foot. The right Wing broke the enemy lines. the left Wing defended Payke Bridge. The Lord aided our victory as guns were placed and the town works captured, with heavy casualties and prisoners uncertain. Major General Harrisons Brigade pursued the retreating enemy as night halted pursuit.
