Council met Thursday April 22 with all members present. Minutes of prior meeting adopted. Accounts from the provincial government for 52.30 and a recreation grounds pay sheet for 18 were approved. Officials recommended paying Power Mark and postponing Ellis Street grading. Main Street sidewalk to the lakefront completed. surplus lumber to be used for public seats. Pound duties assigned to Dignan and Weeks. Turf Club reports no progress on grounds and no funds submitted. Clerk instructed to address school district jurisdiction and liquor licenses with the Tax Surveyor. An assessment by-law will be introduced. Adjourned.

Bassett and McLellan Wed in Penticton Church
Richard Baxter Bassett and Margaret Allison McLellan were married Monday evening at the Methodist church in Penticton by Rev. R W Hibbert. The couple, popular Okangan Falls residents, were accompanied by siblings Florence McLellan and Frederick Bassett and plan to reside at the Falls after a brief stay in the upper Okanagan towns.
