Local notes from Mingeio and Kadina district
About 25 points of rain fell here on Tuesday refreshing grain and crops though more is needed. Kadina Public School lacks a appointed teacher with division over male or female preference. A new school building has been erected and inspected this week. Mr. Stanford’s sale drew a fair attendance though dry weather reduced success. Mrs. Kinsela, daughter of Mrs. Patterson, is seriously ill at Peak Hill Hospital after an operation. Harvey Park is wire netted. Several local cricketers joined the Peak Hill Club. A local resident reportedly struck gold.
