Trains to Shows Fare Concession Issued by Railway Chief
The Chief Commissioner for Railways issues a directive that single fare covers the double journey when special trains run for Agricultural Shows or other public events as determined by the Commissioner. If no special trains run, rates revert to single fare and a quarter. Concessions require the Commissioner's approval and may include conditions. The single journey rate may apply to the double journey on ordinary trains with the Commissioner's approval if the department prefers ordinary service.
