Molong Board Motion on Fence and Rabbit-Proofing Interest
A Molong Board delegate moved a motion adding to section 28 of the Pastures Protection Act of 1906. It allows a landholder on one side of a road who erects a rabbit proof fence to claim part of the opposite side’s fence costs if fences are not in place or properly maintained. If permission to erect such fencing is refused, the interest and sinking fund cease.
