On Christmas Day the local Post Office opens 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. for letters only. Boxing Day and New Year’s Day hours are 9 a.m. to 12 noon and 6 p.m. to pm. The Sydney Office remains open as on ordinary days.
Stever Garren of St Josephs Convent Peak Hill reports from St Vincent s Hospital Sydney that he is getting stronger and will leave on Tuesday. He praises the treatment and wishes friends in Peak a happy Christmas, expressing gratitude for inquiries.
