The Golden Kookaburra Part I Excerpt of a Western Tale
In a remote station a weary narrator recounts a HIV summer landowner’s map and a golden kookaburra image, a deadly treasure tale. Two suitors, Alec McGregor and George Wilship, vie for his daughter Alice while a doctor and the narrator weigh a perilous northern goldfield. The old swagman’s tale hints at peril, love, and a race to fortune as characters scheme and bonds form.
