Condobolin Show highlights and Parkes entries

This week’s Condobolin Show featured judging in the Sheep Section with Mr C J B Palmer as judge. Musical contest wins went to Miss Amy Birnie and Master Edward Phillips. Entries: Parkes Show close Tuesday August 6 and Trundle Tennis Tournament closing Friday August 9.

Parkes Show Draws Wide Interest At August Fair

Reports describe the Forbes Show with stalls paraded by Genanagie draught and pony animals, Mr. W. Seaborn as show secretary, Parkes Jockey Club race plans for August 16, and a Trundle Tennis championship near August 22. Crown Land selections total 906,603 acres original and 594,391 acres additional. Pigs face a 200 ft residence distance rule under the new Acts.
