Bible Translation Society Fifth Annual Meeting Address
The fifth Annual Meeting at New Park Street Chapel on April 30 featured G T Kemp as chair and Francis leading prayer. Speakers defended translating the sense, not just sounds, urged whole Bible circulation, and praised the Society’s Sanskrit Bengali Hindustani Persian Armenian and Sanscrit translations with rising annual donations.
