Thames Tunnel Open Daily Near Rotherhithe Entrance

The Thames Tunnel near Rotherhithe on the Surrey bank is open to the public daily from nine in the morning until dark except Sundays. Admittance is one shilling. Both archways are gas lit and accessible by a newly improved staircase. The tunnel runs about eight hundred sixty feet and is completed to within sixty feet of low water on the Middlesex shore.
