Board to study impact of Bill 58 on local schools
About thirty more grade seven students than expected increased the local ratio to 1 38. The division average is 1 30. A local advisory committee to study the implications of Bill 58, which would require divisions to educate all school age children regardless of handicaps, is being set up by the Board. Al Yaskin has invited Town residents and reported positive early response. Trustee Bill Russick agreed to serve.
